Subject: [OxLUG] Encrypted USB
Hi,

There is a certain amount of security theatre at work, at least one
other has a TruCrypt drive.

TruCrypt is not in the Debian repos due to licensing issues.

I have a little (ACCU) usb drive on my keyring and it is rather fun
inserting my keys into the computer like a car.

I have setup a LUKS drive using dm-crypt following
http://www.emcken.dk/weblog/archives/164-encrypted-usb-drive-in-ubuntu.html

This works fine at work (ubuntu), home (Debian) but does nto get read
by Mac OS-X nor, I imagine, by any Windows versions.
I would also like to make it such that the usb had to be inserted to
access the computer.

Should I use TrueCrypt?

cheers
Tim
