This appears to have been ongoing since at least 10pm last night but may have started earlier. I have contacted our ISP to request that they investigate and restore service, and will provide an update when I hear anything. Sorry for the inconvenience. Best wishes, Dominic. -- Dominic Hargreaves | http://www.larted.org.uk/~dom/ PGP key 5178E2A5 from the.earth.li (keyserver, web, email) From dom at earth.li Sat Feb 18 15:37:31 2012 From: dom at earth.li (Dominic Hargreaves) Date: Sat, 18 Feb 2012 15:37:31 +0000 Subject: [OxLUG Announce] @oxlug.org mail forwarding failure In-Reply-To: <20120218093901.GY28729@urchin.earth.li> References: <20120218093901.GY28729@urchin.earth.li> Message-ID: <20120218153731.GI28729@urchin.earth.li> On Sat, Feb 18, 2012 at 09:39:01AM +0000, Dominic Hargreaves wrote: > There appears to be a misconfiguration affecting all @oxlug.org > mail forwarding; the mail servers for the domain are rejecting mail > with a 'relaying denied' message. The problem was evident as far back as 9pm on Thursday (but I only found out this morning). > I have contacted our ISP to request that they investigate and restore > service, and will provide an update when I hear anything. Their tech support has now responded to let me know that the problem, whatever it was, has been fixed. Initial tests confirm this.
