Our Annual Linux Install Day is on Sunday!
Please come along if you can - even if it's only for half-an-hour.
There'll be lots of demonstrations/talks throughout the day (according to demand) and plenty of opportunities to gain hands-on experience of different Linux distributions and applications for yourself.
In particular, there'll be talks on Internet connection configuration at 11am and 3pm.
We'll also be raffling some goodies, and John Winters from the Linux Emporium will be there in the afternoon. http://www.linuxemporium.co.uk/ (Email him at info@linuxemporium.co.uk if there's anything you'd specifically like him to bring along.)
If you wish to bring a computer for installation, it would help us if you filled in the form in advance at: http://www.oxlug.org/linuxday/register.html
Venue ~~~~~ 22nd Oxford Sea Scout Hall, Meadow Lane (off Donnington Bridge Road), Oxford. It's easy to find - on the East bank of the river on the North side of the main road and there's ample parking.
