IPv6 is the next version of the ubiquitous Internet Protocol (IP) used across the Internet and on other networks. It is currently used experimentally on the 6bone network. Peter Grandi will be discussing both the theoretical aspects of IPv6 (eg how it is designed, and what features it offers) as well as the practical sides of configuring IPv6 networking under Linux.
