IPv6 is the next version of the ubiquitous Internet Protocol (IP) used
across the Internet and on other networks. It is currently used
experimentally on the 6bone network. Peter Grandi will be discussing
both the theoretical aspects of IPv6 (eg how it is designed, and what
features it offers) as well as the practical sides of configuring IPv6

The University Press's Mark Dunn is visiting us to explain the
technology behind getting the Oxford English Dictionary online.
The Oxford English Dictionary, the world's leading authority on the
history and development of the English language since 1150, is available
online. It offers unparalleled access to the wealth of material
contained in the 20-volume Oxford English Dictionary and 3-volume
Additions Series.
