From March 11th-22nd Marc Abrahams (founder of the Annals of Improbable Research) will be touring the UK and Ireland. The show features Ig Nobel winners, a limerick competition and nominees to the Luxuriant Flowing Hair Club for scientists.
The tour will be stopping in Oxford on Thursday 11th March (8th Week) 8pm in the Martin Wood Lecture Theatre (Physics Clarendon Lab, on Parks Rd opposite the end of Keble Rd).
To contribute to the costs of putting on the event, there will be a small charge on the door: GBP 2.50 for Oxford University students and staff (show University Card) GBP 5.00 for others (concessions GBP 4.00).
