In the past 18 months UKUUG has organised an exciting series of free evening presentations given by world-renowned speakers such as Richard Stallman and Eric Raymond.
We are now pleased to announce that the next evening presentation will take place on Wednesday, 4th October 2000.

The talk will give a perspective on how and why the Unix software developer's life has and hasn't changed over the years; looking at what led to Java and what today's development community needs next.
The talk will be followed by a question and answer session.
