The problem was evident as far back as 9pm on Thursday (but I only found out this morning).
I have contacted our ISP to request that they investigate and restore service, and will provide an update when I hear anything.
Their tech support has now responded to let me know that the problem, whatever it was, has been fixed. Initial tests confirm this.
